take action

With so much going on, it can be hard to know where to begin to help.
Here are some ideas.

1. Join our meetings. The EBDTC meets monthly. During those meetings, we strategize the best ways to help our community. You can come once, every month, or whenever you can. You can also attend remotely using Zoom. See our event calendar for our next meeting date, time, location, and Zoom link.

2. Stay informed. The town of East Bridgewater can notify you of important information. You can sign up for board meeting minutes, targeted newsletters, and other notifications on their Subscribe page.

3. Contact your legislators. Make your voice heard! Agree with what they're doing? Disagree with what they're doing? Let them know.

  • Contact your representatives in federal congress: Download and use the 5 Calls app for Android and iOS phones.

  • Contact your representatives in state congress. Use the Find My Legislator tool.

4. Run for office! Our town has many boards, committees, and departments and they always need more Democrats on them. The East Bridgewater website posts when elected positions are open. The town calendar tells you when meetings are held and elections are happening.

Vote

See voter registration deadlines, confirm you are registered to vote, keep track of election dates, and find your voting location at the Town Clerk page.

Not sure who to vote for? Sure, for federal and state elections, it might be an easy choice for you. But deciding who to vote for in local elections, which are arguably more important, is often challenging. Who is running, and what do they stand for? The EBDTC can help.
